Blade finally arrives in Marvel Universe … against zombies: trailer
Marvel Animation unveils a particularly bloody and gore series, where the little world of MCU will fight against an invasion of the living dead.
We do not yet know when Mahershala Ali will really give life to Blade in the cinema, in a Marvel film.
But the famous vampire hunter will finally appear in the MCU in animated form. The first trailer for Marvel Zombies is there and it is not for sensitive souls!
The video promises intense violence with dismembered bodies, liters of blood. And by the way, it reveals the first official appearance of Blade Knight in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This new variant, a fusion of Moon Knight and Blade, handles the saber with brio to cut a “ghost” which has become zombie. It is actor Todd Williams who lends his voice to Blade, years after Wesley Snipes, and waiting, therefore, the Mahershala Ali version blocked in the studio drawers for years.
The Marvel Zombies series will have four episodes, is the direct continuation of the fifth episode of season 1 of What If …?, Titled “What if … the zombies?”. There are several well -known characters there, such as MS. Marvel, Kate Bishop, Yelena Belova, Okoye, or Captain America.
In addition to the characters, the vocal cast brings together stars of the MCU like Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Florence Pugh, David Harbor, and Hailee Steinfeld.
If you remember the episode of What If…?, The zombie infection started when Janet Van Dyne returned from the quantum kingdom with a virus that quickly transformed the Avengers and the whole world into the living dead. The original idea of ”Marvel Zombies” comes from the author of Walking Dead, Robert Kirkman, who created it in 2005 in the form of comics.
