Bradley Cooper joins Margot Robbie in Ocean’s Eleven prequel
He takes the place of Ryan Gosling, who will ultimately not be able to play Danny Ocean’s father.

The highly anticipated prequel to Ocean’s Eleven around Margot Robbie seemed to have stopped for months. But he is moving forward with Bradley Cooper, in discussions to star opposite Robbie in this new film in the franchise.
The project will take place before Steven Soderbergh’s cult film released in 2001, with George Clooney. The saga itself was inspired by Ocean’s 11 original from 1960, worn by Frank Sinatra and his Rat Pack, and we understand that this prequel should take us back to that time, a priori to follow the bandit life of Danny Ocean’s parents, played by Margot Robbie and Bradley Cooper.
The film will be directed by Lee Isaac Chung (Twisters), who succeeds Jay Roach who was initially expected to direct. The screenplay is by Carrie Solomon, and according to the first elements, the plot should take place in Europe in the 1960s.
It will be noted that this new film Ocean’s Eleven will bring together for the first time Margot Robbie and Bradley Cooper, who should have already toured together in Babylonbefore Brad Pitt replaced Cooper.
The franchise Ocean’s Eleven should come back, before that, with Ocean’s 14in 2027 at the cinema.
