An event that was close to the heart of Artus and his team, which is currently a hit in theaters thanks to this comedy dealing with disability with humor.

A little something extra: a hilarious comedy… about disability (review)
The actor, co-writer and director was shocked to hear from influential French cinema producers that “the public does not want to see disabled people in the cinema”. He still stuck to his comedy project, he who had already tackled this subject successfully in sketches, and it worked: the film won over the critics and the public, even creating a phenomenon in theaters. In three weeks, it passed 3 million entries, and it could soon double Dune 2 to become the biggest success of 2024 in France.

Faced with this unexpected success, Artus and his entire team wanted to climb the steps of the 77th Cannes Film Festival, but there again, a major obstacle arose: no luxury brands did not agree to lend dresses and suits to the actors.

At the heart of the film A little something extra, the young actor suffers from an autosomal recessive genetic disease, which forces him to mainly use a wheelchair. A few days ago, he was already able to carry the Olympic Flame in Montpellier. This time, he was able to stay alongside his colleagues to climb the steps, in Artus's arms.
