The former sounds of anarchy becomes a serial killer chilling in the anthology of Ryan Murphy.
He is already seriously freaking out!
Charlie Hunnam slips into the shoes of the Serial Killer Ed Gein for season 3 of the anthology Monster signed Ryan Murphy, whose trailer has just been revealed by Netflix.
Scheduled for Friday, October 3, this new salvo will have eight episodes, put online at once, just in time for Halloween.
Ed Gein, nicknamed the “Boucher de Plainfield”, marked America in the 1950s by his macabre crimes: he admitted the murder of two women, and was accused of digging up corpses to make objects with human remains. Its history has inspired some of the greatest classics of horror, from Alfred Hitchcock psychosis to the chainsaw massacre.
Alongside Charlie Hunnam, we will find Laurie Metcalf (The Conners) in the role of Ed Gein’s authoritarian mother, Augusta. Tom Hollander (The White Lotus) embodies Alfred Hitchcock, while Olivia Williams (The Crown) lends her features to Alma Reville, the woman and collaborator of the suspense master.
The official synopsis announces a dive into “The frozen fields of the Wisconsin of the 1950s, where Eddie Gein led a quiet existence in a ruined farm, hiding a house of horrors so monstrous that it would redefined the American nightmare. Pushed by isolation, psychosis and a devouring obsession for his mother, Gein gave birth to a new type of monster that would haunt Hollywood for decades. ”
Coriented by Ryan Murphy and his faithful collaborator Ian Brennan, principal screenwriter of this third season, Monster promises to once again like an essential Halloween series …
