Colin Farrell is back in the trailer for The Penguin series
The spin-off of The Batman arrives this fall and in eight episodes on Max.
Well, it's not yet The Batman – Part II (which will not be released before 2026), but it's already not bad: here's a first real trailer for The Penguinmini-series in eight episodes where Colin Farrell reprises his role as a super-criminal two years after appearing in The Batman with Robert Pattinson. We know that the first three episodes will be directed by Craig Zobel (The Hunt in 2020), and that Cobblepot's opponent will not be the Dark Knight but Sofia Falcone (Cristin Milioti), the daughter of Carmine, the former boss of the Penguin. They will clash for control of Gotham City's crime world. This is good, since we have just learned that the Max platform which will broadcast The Penguin (with Matt Reeves producing, anyway) will be launched this July in France. But we will have to wait until the fall to see the first episode of The Penguin in streaming – as you will have watched season 2 of House of the Dragon this summer (it starts again on June 16), ban on complaining.
