Only Murders in the Building returns for a season 5 on September 9 and Disney Plus has just unveiled the trailer, with a new mystery and a casting XXL (see below).

The series, carried by Martin Short, Steve Martin and Selena Gomez, follows a trio of amateur and podcasters True Crime, faced with a series of suspect murders in their New York building.

In this new season, the concierge Lester (embodied by Teddy Coluca) dies in troubled circumstances. Charles (Martin), Oliver (Short) and Mabel (Gomez) refuse to believe in the official version. “A guy fills a blood fountain in the deadliest building in New York … And they say it’s accidental?” Loose Charles in the trailer, determined to dig the case with his acolytes.

The cast of this season 5 impresses: Meryl Streep, Michael Cyril Creighton, Bobby Cannavale, Beanie Feldstein, Jermaine Fowler, Keegan-Michael Key, Richard Kind, Nathan Lane, Téa Leoni, Logan Lerman, Da’vine Joy Randolph, Christoph Waltz, Dianne Wiel and Renée Zellweger join the adventure.
