Daniel Radcliffe gives his opinion on the reboot of Harry Potter: will he be in it?
“I am very happy that the torch has passed”, assures the British actor.
Expecto Patronum! It’s been a decade since Daniel Radcliffe is done with Harry Potter and soon, a new adaptation of the adventures of the little wizard will even see the light of day on HBO Max. The 7 books by JK Rowling will be taken up on the small screen in 7 seasons, with a brand new cast… and therefore without Daniel Radcliffe !
The English actor confirms in a recent interview with ComicBook.com that there is no reason for him to be in it. On the contrary, its presence in the series could harm the clarity of the project, which will have to wipe the slate clean:
“I understand they’re really trying to start fresh and I’m sure whoever directs the show will want to leave their own mark. They probably won’t want to look for a way to bring old Harry back so he can make an appearance. in it, somewhere… So I’m definitely not looking to be in it, but I wish them, obviously, the best and I’m very happy that the torch has passed. me physically to pass it…”
Produced by JK Rowling, the series Harry Potter has no date or casting announced yet.
