The story takes place in an alternative and retro-futuristic version of the 1990s. “Michelle, an orphan teenager, evolves in a society where robots gifted with sensitivity resembling cartoons and mascots. They used to serve humans peacefully. But these robotos now live in exile after the failure of an uprising. Michelle’s life is upset one evening, when she receives the visit of Cosmo, a sweet and mysterious robot which seems to be controlled by Christopher, the brilliant brother of Michelle whom she believed dead. Determined to find the beloved brother she thought she had lost, Michelle leaves through the US Southwest with Cosmo, and finds herself backwarded with Keats, a smuggler and his acolyte Robotur Robotur… “
