Discover behind the scenes of the series with the Village exhibition of the Séries Mania 2024 festival
Like every year, the Tripostal in Lille hosts an exhibition event, imagined this year by Charlotte Blum on the theme of little-known professions behind the small screen.
They are culinary stylists, inventors of fictional languages (like the Dothraki of Game Of Thrones), creators of medical injuries or even professional criers (yes it exists)… This year, the Village Series Festival Mania 2024in Lille, comes to life with a major exhibition dedicated to unknown but essential professions for a successful series.
The journalist, presenter and director Charlotte Blum imagined this exhibition which is full of treasures and allows you to better understand how a series is really made. A free and concrete dive behind the scenes and manufacturing secrets, which will be enhanced by a conference of Janice Poonfood stylist (Hannibal, Star Trek: Discovery), of David and Jessie Petersonlanguage creators (Game of Thrones, Dune), and of Valerie Addacostume designer (The Charity Bazaar, Les Combattantes). The loudest voices will even have the opportunity to practice screaming in a special scream box, which will record the power of your vocal cords. Would you have made a good scream queen? Record to beat: 126 decibels!
Remember that in addition to the exhibition, the Tripostal de Lille also hosts workshops and various activities, such as an immersive and interactive investigation, on the theme of vampires. A sort of Escape Game, during which you will have to solve puzzles by interacting with actors and a Belle Epoque decor.
Finally, it is also at the Tripostal that the meetings/signings of Mania Series. This year, the new team of More Beautiful Life, Even More Beautiful is visiting Lille, just like the heroes of The Art of Crimeor the torrid gang of Escort Boys from Prime Video.
