Emily in Paris leads the Dolce Vita: trailer for season 5
Lily Collins remains in Italy for the rest of the Netflix series.
Netflix has unveiled the very first trailer and the first images of season 5 of Emily in Paris, expected in the coming months. This new burst of episodes sees Lily Collins reprise her role as Emily Cooper, the most stylish American marketer in the French capital, and now in the Boot.
As the teaser shows, Emily begins a new chapter between Rome and Paris, with: a sizzling romance with Marcello (Eugenio Franceschini), boat trips, a sunny road trip, extravagant parties and lots (lots) of glamour.
In addition to Collins and Franceschini, we find the faithful Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu (Sylvie), Ashley Park (Mindy), Lucas Bravo (Gabriel), Samuel Arnold (Julien), Bruno Gouery (Luc), William Abadie (Antoine) and Lucien Laviscount (Alfie). The big news? Minnie Driver joins the cast as Princess Jane, a royal friend of Sylvie.
The official synopsis of this season 5 announces a turning point:
“Now at the head of the Grateau Agency in Rome, Emily must face new professional and emotional challenges while adapting to life in a new city. But just as everything finally seems to be aligning, a job idea goes wrong, leading to a series of setbacks, between romantic heartbreak and career complications. In search of stability, Emily plunges back into her French lifestyle, until the day a big secret threatens one of her most valuable relationships. By confronting conflict honestly, Emily is able to build deeper connections, gain clarity, and prepare to embrace new possibilities.”
Season 5 of Emily in Paris will be released on December 18 on Netflix.
