Eva Longoria will adapt Ten Percent in Mexico

L’Oréal muse, a regular at the Croisette, Eva Longoria took advantage of a set of the show C to yourelocated to Cannes for the festival, to make an announcement that warms the hearts of the French: fan of the bleu-blanc-rouge series Ten percentshe managed to acquire the rights to adapt it to Mexico.
“Ten percent, it's my favorite series. I started watching it years ago, and my husband got the rights for Latin America and Mexico, and I said I'm going to do it because I think it's one of the funniest series,” confesses the former resident of Wisteria Lane.
“The series “Ten Percent” is really my favorite series. My husband obtained the rights, I’m going to direct it because it’s something wonderful!”

For this production, Eva Longoria will wear the dual role of director-producer. This is not the first time that the forty-nine-year-old actress has gone behind the camera: she notably produced the series Devious Maidsand the first part of the saga John Wick with Keanu Reeves. His first feature-length fiction film, Flamin' Hotwas released on the Hulu platform in June 2023, but she is also known for having directed episodes of series like Jane the Virgin, Black-ish, Very Bad Nanny (The Mick in VO) or even Why Women Kill.
Eva Longoria did not give more information on this Mexican version of the series created by Fanny Herrero And Dominique Besnehard for France Télévisions. Besides, this is not the first time that Ten percentthis story of celebrity agents whose talents drive them crazy, is adapted abroad: since its first broadcast in 2015, the series has been repeated in no less than eleven countries, including Canada (The Invisibles), India (Call My Agent: Bollywood), South Korea (Behind Every Star) or the United Kingdom (Ten percent).
This announcement comes when it is Camille Cottin, whose success was confirmed by her incarnation of the tempestuous and formidable Andréa Martel, who was chosen to play the mistresses of ceremonies of this 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival. Coincidence?
