Filming for Squid Game season 2 is about to begin
New faces were announced to the cast at the same time.
This will be one of Netflix’s next major events. Two years after the huge buzz, Squid Game actively preparing its season 2.
Production is finally moving forward and the streamer announces: “This week cast members and showrunners came together for their first read. The filming of Season 2 of Squid Game will take place in the next few weeks.

Incidentally, we learn that actor Park Gyu-young (sweet home), Kang Ae-sim (Be Melodramatic), Lee David (The Fortress), Lee Jin-uk (sweet home), Choi Seung-hyun (Commitment), Roh Jae-won (Missing Yoon), Won Ji-an (DP) and singer of K-pop group, Iz*One, Jo Yu-ri will also be cast.
“Rising stars and veteran actors, the cast will have a diverse range of talents. Director Hwang Dong-hyuk, who won an Emmy for the first season, will return to direct this Season 2.”
Season 2 of Squid Game does not yet have a date but should therefore be visible in 2024 on Netflix.
