Final Destination 6 is coming, “any minute now”
As soon as negotiations resume between the studios and the unions…” Death is about to return to service!
2000s cult horror movie, Final destination has already had four sequels. And more than ten years after the release of Final Destination 5 (in 2011), Death will strike again.
The creator of the saga, Jeffrey Reddickannounces in Collider that the project will materialize when the actors’ strike ends.
“Final Destination 6 is expected any minute now! As soon as negotiations have resumed between the studios and the unions, we will be able to start shooting this film. It’s just awesome as a fan of the genre to have created something that’s now part of pop-culture. I couldn’t have asked for more (…) I don’t want to say too much, but frankly, it will be worth the wait.”
In January 2022, the director of Spider-Man: No Way HomeJon Watts, has been announced as the producer of this sixth film Final destinationslated for streaming on HBO Max.
Final Destination 6 will be directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein from a screenplay by Watts, Lori Evans Taylor and Guy Busick. No cast name has been leaked.
