Glen Powell will be filming Running Man in November… then finishing his studies in Texas!
The filming of Edgar Wright now has a date, which has been adjusted to the student schedule of the American star.
As he transformed into Chad Powersin recent days, for the filming of the new series coming to Disney Plus, Glen Powell already has her career in sight. She will go through Stephen King...and the benches of the University of Texas!
In fact, in 2024/2025, Glen Powell planned to remake Running Mandirected by Edgar Wrightbut also to finish his studies and obtain his diploma from the University of Austin!
“I’m not going to be sitting in a classroom with other students like we usually do.“, the actor confided to IndieWire this summer, specifying that he will “zoom“lots of classes, learning remotely.”But I’m still going to have to come back to Texas because I have to finish this degree.”
The filming of Running Man was therefore adjusted according to the final exams of Glen Powell. That’s why he’ll start next November in London, The Wrap reports today.
“The production of Running Man let me get on with distance learning. But I have to come back for proctored exams (…) So I’ll be in London this fall, but I’m going to be flying back and forth to Texas for my proctored exams. They let me do my thing and Edgar was very kind to let me finish my degree in the middle of his huge movie !”
Michael Bacall is currently writing the script for the film. The remake of Running Man does not have a release date yet.
