Greenland 2 has a release date for 2026

Greenland 2: Migrationfollowing the post-apocalyptic disaster thriller with Gerard Butler, will be released in theaters on January 9, 2026, Lionsgate announced.
The film will resume after the impact of the comet, which destroyed a large part of the earth. John, Allison and their son Nathan (interpreted respectively by Gerard Butler, Morena Baccarin and Roman Griffith Davis) must leave the bunker which protected them in Greenland to cross a devastated world in search of a new refuge.
Directed by Ric Roman Wash, the film also hosts Amber Rose Revah, Sophie Thompson, Trond Fausa Aurvåg and William Abadie.
The scenario is signed Mitchell Lafortune and Chris Sparling (already author of the first opus).
Released in the Covid pandemic, Greenland had had an unexpected success: n ° 1 of the box office in 26 countries (including Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Russia), with more than $ 52 million in global revenue.
