Halo Cancelled, No Season 3 Yet
The sci-fi series based on the video game is hoping to find another broadcaster.
End of career for Master Chief? Paramount+ has just cancelled his series Halowhich launched in March 2022 and aired its second season last February. Paramount will not order a third season of the video game adaptation starring Pablo Schreiber.
“We are extremely proud of this ambitious series,” Paramount+ said in a statement, “and would like to thank our partners Xbox, 343 Industries and Amblin Television, as well as showrunner and executive producer David Wiener, his fellow executive producers, the entire series. We wish everyone the best for the future.”
While fallout Or The Last of Us have become pop phenomena, Halo failed to ride the wave and create buzz. But producers Amblin Television, Xbox and 343 Industries are not giving up. They are currently looking for another broadcaster, so that season 3 of Halo may take place elsewhere:
“We deeply appreciate the millions of fans who have made the series Halo a global success and we remain committed to expanding the Halo universe in more ways in the future.”says a press release from 343 Industries.
