House of the Dragon: filming for season 2 is finally over
“Make way for the VFX!” announces actor Steve Toussaint on social networks.
It’s already been a year since season 1 of House of the Dragon was nearing its conclusion. So when’s the sequel? Season 2 of the HBO series derived from Game Of Thrones has only just finished filming. Not even impacted by the writers’ and actors’ strike, it just required a long and tedious production.
It is Steve Toussaint who announced on social networks the end of filming. The interpreter of Lord Corlys Velaryon explains on Instagram: “It’s in the can. Now it’s in the hands of the editors, the special effects people and others. I hope you like it when you finally get to see it…”
Post-production is therefore beginning and we will still have to be patient. Season 2 of House of the Dragon is expected by summer 2024 on HBO.
