House of the Dragon: New blood in the casting of season 3

Three knights dreaded from Westeros who will have their words to say in the famous dance of dragons.

The struggle for the iron throne is far from over … and it promises to be even more fierce.

Three new names have just joined season 3 of House of the Dragonand not least: Barry Sloane (Revenge,, SIX),, Tom Cullen (Knightfall,, Downton Abbey) And Joplin Sibtainthat fans of Andor will recognize under the features of Brasso.

The trio will embody three dreaded knights in the world of Westeros: Barry Sloane will be Ser Adrian Redfortwhile Tom Cullen will play Ser Luthor Largentand that Joplin Sibtain will lend his features to Ser “bold” Jon Roxton.

So who are they?

In the books of George RR Martin, Adrian Redfort is a Knight of Maison Redfort and a member of the Royal Guard of Rhaenyra Targaryen. Luthor Largent is also a knight, but in Port-Réal, commander of the watch at the size of Géant, reputed to be strong as a bull. Finally, Jon Roxtonsaid the bold, is a knight of the Roxton house, support of King Aegon II Targaryen, bearing a Valyrian steel sword named factory of orphan.

Alongside them, other new faces have already been announced for this season 3, especially Tommy Flanagan (Sons of Anarchy,, Power Book IV: Force) in the role of Ser Roderick Dustin,, Dan Fogler (Fantastic animals,, The Goldbergs) in Ser Torrhen ManderlyAnd James Norton (The Nevers,, HAPPY VALLEY) in that ofOrmund Hightower.

The pillars of the series will obviously be back: Matt Smith, Emma d’Arcy, Olivia Cooke, Steve Toussaint, Rhys Ifans, Fabien Frankel, Ewan Mitchell, Tom Glynn-Carney, Sonoya Mizuno, Harry Collett, Bethany Antonia, Phoebe Campbell, Phia Saban, Jefferson Hall, Matthew Needham, Tom Bennett, Kieran Bew, Kurt Egyiawan, Freddie Fox, Clinton Liberty, Gayle Rankin and Abubakar Salim.

Season 3 of House of the Dragon is expected for 2026, with an end of series already scheduled for season 4.
