Impotence, fuck and cocaine: the Deadpool & Wolverine trailer shows its difference
The crossover between X-Men, Deadpool and the Marvel Cinematic Universe promises to be as spectacular as it is irreverent. The new trailer clearly displays its R-Rated spirit.
“Cocaine is Kevin Feige's only forbidden! We do not have the right !” No, Deadpool & Wolverine will not be a Marvel film like any other. If both X-Men officially join the MCU – a consequence of the acquisition of Fox by Disney – they will do it in their own way, without denying themselves. This is the clear message of the new trailer for the long-awaited summer blockbuster. This Deadpool 3 will be just as bloody as the others, just as trashy as the previous ones, and at least as irreverent.
As the film will be R-Rated (banned for unaccompanied minors in the USA), the production was able to afford everything. There will be “fuck” this or “fuck” that, savagely slit throats or jokes about the helplessness of Wolverine, who cannot raise his claws when he has drunk too much… The only limit set by Kevin Feige, the boss of Marvel Studios: drugs and coke are no joke! At least that's what suggests Ryan Reynolds in this trailer full of new images, which also says a little more about the plot.
“ I don't know how to save a world. You know how to do it. » This is the big striking line of the video, which suggests that Wade Wilson is going to cross dimensions to find Logan, his old friend (they crossed paths in X-Men Origins: Wolverine in 2009). We do not yet know exactly which version of Logan it will be. The one who died in the 2017 film? Or another suffering from another trauma? In any case, thanks to the portals of their friend Doctor Strange, they will switch to various dimensions (one Mad Max ?), one of which will be dominated by Cassandra Nova, powerful telepath and twin sister of Charles Xavier in the comics, who reveals herself in the guise of a Emma Corrin unfamiliarity (above), far from her role as Diana in The Crown.
Deadpool & Wolverinedirected by Shawn Levy, will be released in theaters on July 24.
