Jamel Debbouze reunites with Marsupilami for Philippe Lacheau: trailer

Almost 15 years after Alain Chabat, the famous Marsupilami returns to the cinema… and this time, in the footsteps of La Bande à Fifi.
We find all of Philippe Lacheau’s humor in the trailer for Marsupilamiwhich promises to be one of the cinema events at the start of next year.
As often, Philippe Lacheau will share the stage with his partner Élodie Fontan. The couple will be going on a family cruise…and the cruise promises to be fun in yellow and black.
The synopsis: “To save his job, David accepts a lame plan: bring back a mysterious package from South America. He finds himself on board a cruise with his ex Tess, his son Léo, and his colleague Stéphane, as stupid as he is clumsy, whom David uses to transport the package for him. Everything goes wrong when Stéphane accidentally opens it: an adorable baby Marsupilami appears and the trip turns into chaos!
Jamel Debbouze will be back, after wearing On the Marsupilami trail. He will once again play veterinarian Pablito Camaron, a little thug from Palombie, which unofficially makes it a direct sequel – even if it is not officially announced as such – to Chabat’s film.
In the rest of the cast, we will see Tarek Boudali, Julien Arruti, Alban Ivanov, Reem Kherici, Corentin Guillot and Jean Reno.
Directed by Philippe Lacheau, based on Franquin, screenplay by Philippe Lacheau, Pierre Dudan, Julien Arruti and Pierre Lacheau, Marsupilami will be released in cinemas on February 4, 2026 in France.
