Four years after their last film together, Jason Statham and Guy Ritchie reunite once again, for a brand new action run.

According to Varietythe duo will collaborate on Viva La Madnessa fighting thriller adapted from the eponymous novel by JJ Connolly (published in 2011) — direct sequel to his book Layer Cakethat the director of Kick-Ass, Matthew Vaughn was brought to the screen in 2004 with Daniel Craig in the leading role.

The film is already described as a standalone project with no connection to other adaptations. Clearly, this is not the sequel 20 years later.

Viva La Madness will be written and directed by Guy Ritchie. Filming planned for January 2026. No release date yet.
