Jeff Goldblum becomes Zeus for Netflix: first images of Kaos
A flamboyant cast promises to honor Greek mythology, in the light of the contemporary era, where humanity undergoes fluctuations: pandemics, injustices, etc.
The first images of Kaos suggest a peaceful, almost idyllic environment where Zeus, the king of the gods, resides. A storm threatens to disrupt the comfort of the Almighty. Contrary to what was indicated during the summer of 2022, the latter will not be played by Hugh Grantbut by Jeff Goldblumformerly Earth's rescuer in Independence Dayy.
“Almighty, cruel, sometimes benevolent… He has no idea that the plot to bring him down is already in motion“, claims the Netflix press release.
Here are the first images of this series, enhanced by the blues voice of Dinah Washington, singer of Bitter Earth:
The casting of this series rereading the myths of ancient Greece promises to be epic, Cliff Curtis (Fear The Walking Dead) will be Poseidon, god of the seas, Debi Mazar carried in Medusa's poisonous hair, Janet McTeer will be Hera, goddess of marriage, then David Thewlis, Harry Potter's ex-professor Lupine trades his benevolence for the god of the Underworld, Hades. Perhaps he is behind the plot against the powerful Zeus?
Kaos is designed under the scriptwriting leadership of Charlie Covell (The End of the F***ing World) and the producers of the terrible series Chernobyl.
She does not yet have a release date.
