Jeremy Renner says he is ready to return as Hawkeye
“I’ll be strong enough, that’s for sure. I will be ready,” assures the actor, who has finally healed from his injuries.
More than a year ago now, the actor Jeremy Renner was the victim of a serious snowplow accident. Seriously injured, the star took months to heal and announces that she is ready to make her return to the MCU: he plans to play Clint Barton/Hawkeye again very soon, one of the original Avengers. Since the release of Joss Whedon’s blockbuster in 2012, he has appeared in several blockbusters in the saga, and even had his own series on Disney+in 2021.
“I have to set goals for myself. I will do whatever I can… whatever it takes to get better, to get strongerthe actor told Entertainment Tonight, It’s a one-way street, this recovery. The rest of my life is focused on health and wellness. Recovery will be part of the rest of my life.”
Because of this accident, Jeremy Renner suffered serious injuries including chest trauma, several broken ribs, a fractured left tibia as well as a left ankle, right collarbone and right shoulder.
After this ordeal, Jeremy Renner emphasizes the importance of taking care of your health and makes it a new life goal: “There is always something you can do to get better, be stronger, be happier, be healthier”, he explains. Even if he wants to recover and maintain his newly found shape, he is not indifferent to the call of fans who want to see him put back on the Hawkeye costume.

“I’m still in play. I’ll be strong enough, that’s for sure. I’ll be ready. All these guys come to my bedside and they’ve been with me through this whole healing, so…if they want me, they could have me. That would be something!”, he assures.
While waiting for this big return to the MCU, the actor will make his first public appearance during an advertisement broadcast during the Super Bowl, next Sunday, in partnership with the almond milk brand Silk.
The actor says he only drank Silk almond milk during his recovery, which helped him a lot: “Silk almond milk was what I drank every day”. The brand finally contacted him for a partnership with his daughter, which he accepted immediately: “They told me about their idea and I replied: ‘I love it…it’s great.’
