Josh Brolin Won’t Be a Green Lantern for HBO
The actor turned down the offer from DC Studios.
He doesn’t want to trade Thanos’ purple for a green Lantern. Josh Brolin has decided to turn down a job on HBO’s new live-action DC Comics series. The star of Dune and other Outer Range was offered the role of Hal Jordan in the upcoming live-action series Lanterns. But according to The Hollywood Reporter, Brolin declined. Matthew McConaugheyanother contender mentioned, will not come either.
Warner Bros. has not made any official comment and even James Gunnco-CEO of DC Studios, has never denied this persistent casting rumor.
He will now have to find a new headliner to play Hal Jordan. A short list reportedly exists on which the names ofEwan McGregorof Timothy Olyphant and of Chris Pine.
