Kev Adams Adapt Retirement House in series on TF1

The French Expendables, soon on a small screen, with Chantal Ladesou, Daniel Prévost, Liliane Rovère…

Retirement homethe series is gone. The shooting began this February 19 in the Paris region, with Kev Adams and Claude Zidi Jr. to the realization. The series will have six 52 -minute episodes. Side residents, we will find Chantal Ladesou, Daniel Prévost, Liliane Rovère, Michel Jonasz, Firmine Richard, Enrico Macias, Claudette Walker… and on the “Young” side, Stefi Celma and Jarry. Without forgetting Kev Adams, of course, who resumes his role as Milann, former sentenced to Tig who has become the best friend of old people.

Here is what the official synopsis of the series indicates, communicated by TF1: “The Lino Vartan home for the first time welcomes teenagers condemned to work of general interest in the retirement home … But it is the war between generations: our colorful seniors refuse to share their paradise with Criminals! ” And that’s not all, since the region wants to cut the home subsidies … No mention of the pension reform in the synopsis, for information, but hey, it’s retirement home and not Hippocrates (another French success in theaters adapted in a TV series).

Retirement home first of the name, directed by Thomas Gilou (The truth if I lie!) exceeded 2 million admissions in 2022, and its suite Retirement home 2 (already signed Claude Zidi Jr.) has a bit underperform with 1.5 million admissions in 2024. The thing with the franchise Retirement homeis that in the way of Expendablewe can recruit a whole series of actors “of a certain age”, as we kindly say. In any case, among the veterans who do not return to the series (or who have not yet been announced), there is Mylène DEMONGEOT, Jean-Luc Bideau, Marthe Villalonga, Amanda Lear, Jean Reno or Gérard Depardieu. The latter is normal since -Spoiler alert -he dies at the end of the first film, and he gives his name (Lino Vartan) to the home where retirement home is and the series. As long as we are there, Depardieu is again under the spotlight following the revelations by release of new misogynous remarks made with Yann Moix during his trip to North Korea.
