Kinds of Kindness: new teaser and new images of the new Yórgos Lánthimos
Just a few months after Poor Creatures, the Greek filmmaker is already back, with Emma Stone in the cast. And he will even be in Cannes this year!
Yorgos Lanthimos is everywhere ! A few weeks after the box Poor Creatures at the Oscars, the Greek filmmaker has already moved on, with his 9th film (the 5th filmed in Hollywood) Kinds of Kindness, which has just been selected for the Official Competition at the next Cannes Film Festival. To celebrate this selection, Searchlight Pictures has just released a brand new teaser, which reveals new images (see below).
Kinds of Kindness will have its world premiere at the 77th Cannes Film Festival and will be released in cinemas in France on June 26.
It will be a “triptych that follows: a man without choices who tries to take control of his own life; a police officer worried because his wife who disappeared at sea has returned and she seems a different person; and a woman determined to find a person very specific person endowed with a special power, destined to become a prodigious spiritual leader.”
At the casting, we will again come across Emma Stone, Margaret Qualley And William Dafoealready present in Poor Creatures. They will be joined by Jesse Plemon, Hong Chau or Hunter Schafer.
Kinds of Kindness will be the fourth film in competition Yorgos Lanthimos and the screenwriter Efthimis Filippou at the Cannes Film Festival.
