Save the Cheerleader…again! A new Heroes series planned

Ten years after Heroes Reborn, a new series, Heroes: Eclipsed, is being written.

It will undoubtedly remain one of the greatest television frustrations of all time. Heroesthe fantastic poorly finished fantasy series, will once again try to repair the failure of the last seasons. Heroes: Eclipseda new iteration of the saga, is in preparation and it is the creator Tim Kring who is in charge.

It would be a pure and simple sequel, taking place years after the events of the finale of the original series and which will focus on the awakening of new “Evos” and the discovery of their powers, which will turn their lives upside down.

Obviously, we will recall that Tim Kring has already tried to resurrect its Heroes with Heroes Reborn, in 2015, centered mainly on Noah Bennett (Jack Coleman). The 13-episode limited series followed another group of Evos targeted by the U.S. government, which blamed them for a terrorist attack in Odessa, Texas. The story ended with the team saving the world from a solar flare-induced apocalypse and continuing to live normal lives.

As for the original series, Heroes lasted 4 seasons, from 2006 to 2010, and notably revealed Hayden Panettiere, Milo Ventimiglia, Masi Oka and Zachary Quinto. After a phenomenal debut and exceptional worldwide buzz, the “hype” Heroes collapsed at the end of season 2. The series then concluded in a form of desolate anonymity. Even Heroes Reborn was unable to restart the show. SO Heroes: Eclipsed can he do better?

For the moment, it is only a project, not yet acquired by a channel or a platform.
