Kurt Russell joins the world of Yellowstone
He will be Michelle Pfeiffer’s husband in The Madison, a new series by Taylor Sheridan in Montana.

Kurt Russell officially joins the world of Taylor Sheridan ranchs. The American actor will be playing with The Madison, the director’s new creation in the world of Yellowstone.
The project, presented as a spin-off, promises to be different from the westernized frescoes to which Sheridan has accustomed us.
The Madison defines itself as “an intimate study of mourning and human ties”, focused on a New York family who came to settle in the Madison River valley, in the heart of Montana. A more intimate approach, but still in the American midwest dear to the showrunner, which continues to expand its television empire on Paramount+.
If the details remain secret, several sources indicate that Kurt Russell will perform the husband of the character played by Michelle Pfeiffer, already announced in the casting. The actress will therefore share the screen for the first time with Russell, in an association which gives a prestige supplement to the series. Around them, an eclectic cast: Patrick J. Adams, Matthew Fox, Beau Garrett, Amiah Miller, Ben Schnetzer, Kevin Zegers and others.
For Kurt Russell, it is only his second big television role in recent years. It was found in 2023 in the Apple TV+ Monarch series: Legacy of Monsters, alongside his son Wyatt Russell.
By embarking Kurt Russell, Sheridan confirms his power of attraction with Hollywood legends, after having already convinced Harrison Ford, Helen Mirren, Kevin Costner and Sam Elliott to rub his universe.
