Sam Raimi is preparing a remake of a classic of horror of the 1970s
At the time, Anthony Hopkins was chased by a demonic puppet.
The creator ofevil DeadSam Raimi, has found his next horrific project: a remake of Magicthe 1978 cult film worn by Anthony Hopkins and made at the time by Richard Pantaloch (yes the hammond of Jurassic Park).
Raimi joins Lionsgate to develop and produce this new version via his company Raimi Productions.

For his remake, Sam Raimi will be able to count on Chris Hammond and Tim Sullivan who will also officer as producers. The scenario was entrusted to Mark Swift and Damian Shannon, already accomplices of the filmmaker, since they wrote Send Helpthe next horror film of the director, carried by Rachel McAdams, expected in theaters on January 28, 2026. The new Magic does not yet have a release date.
