Luke Grimes wants a Yellowstone reunion with Kelly Reilly!

“It would even be a little weird if it didn’t happen…” The American actor confides in Première.

For the past few weeks, Kayce Dutton has abandoned the cows to stop the bad guys in Marshals, a new crime series derived from Yellowstone. Actor Luke Grimes reprises his role, far from the Dutton legacy. However, he does not forget his family.

Because since Yellowstone ended last year, Kayce only has one sister! Everyone around him is dead, except Beth. And that’s good: Kelly Reilly hasn’t said goodbye to the franchise, since she will also have her own series. It will be called Dutton Ranch, and we will also find Cole Hauser there, while Rip and Beth will try to build a future together far from the ghosts of Yellowstone…

Can the last two children of John Dutton (Kevin Costner) still alive ignore each other for long? Certainly not for Luke Grimes, who admits to Première that a crossover is entirely possible:

“Yes… And I would even say it would be a little weird if it never happened! Beth and Kayce are left with just them. She’s the last member of her family still alive (laughs). It would be awesome and it would totally make sense for Kayce to call her sister at some point…”

But Luke Grimes is not fooled and he knows well that this kind of crossover is not easy to set up: “It will obviously depend on contractual things…” he admits to us.

But when asked if he has ever discussed it with his comrade Kelly Reilly, he acquiesces without beating around the bush:

“Absolutely. We’re in regular contact. We talk a lot together. She’s a friend. And she also thinks it would be good if it happened one day! Whether it’s Beth coming to Marshals or me going to her series. It has to happen.”
