Making of Minecraft: Jack Black and Jason Momoa invite you behind the scenes of production
From cacti to Creepers, this is how the settings and characters of the film based on the famous video games were constructed.
The new trailer for Minecraft: A Movie (and not “The Movie”), by Jared Hess (Nacho Free), should be unveiled this week by Warner Bros., so to wait, the studio is offering gamers a 3-minute making-of inviting the public to discover its behind-the-scenes production. Or rather, of construction, the production designers, costume designers and animators having combined their efforts to build a world as close as possible to that of the games.
“Everything had to have a cubic shape, laughs Grant Major, responsible for imagining the settings for the film. Square trees, square fruits, square lawns, square flowers…”

To return home, they will have to master this world (and protect it from evil creatures like Piglins and Zombies), while embarking on a magical quest alongside Steve, an expert fabricator. This adventure will push them to be daring and to use their unique qualities of creativity. So many faculties that they will need to flourish in the real world.“
