Margot Robbie launches into horror cinema with a live adaptation of Stagtown
The Webtoon which is a hit on the Internet will be brought to the cinema by LuckyChap Entertainment.
She seems far away already, barbie… Margot Robbievia LuckyChap Entertainment, abandons the doll to partner with Wattpad Webtoon Studios to produce the film Stagtowna live-action adaptation, inspired by Punko’s famous horror series, broadcast on the Webtoon platform, which already has more than 18 million views.
“Stagtown by Punko has captivated the web with its imaginative horrors and addictive mystery” rejoices Jason Goldberg, from Wattpad Webtoon Studios, in a press release. “We’re thrilled to collaborate with LuckyChap, who approaches adaptations with singular directors and bold ambition. We’re also excited to bring the thrills of Stagtown to life through Benjamin Brewer, an artist whose ingenious vision of original material promises to make this project an iconic horror film for an entire generation.”
A live-action ‘STAGTOWN’ horror movie adaptation is in the works.

The movie Stagtown will be written and directed by Benjamin Brewerknown for his work as a VFX artist on A24’s Oscar-winning film, Everything Everywhere All at Once. We also owe him music videos for artists such as Justin Bieber, David Guetta, and The Chainsmokers.
According to the official synopsis, Stagtown promises to immerse viewers in a terrifying intrigue: “Loved by fans for its nightmarish plot and disturbing visual style, the story follows Frankie, Jeremy and Felix as they discover something is wrong in the town of Stagtown. The three protagonists will try to escape the horrors that the inhabitants prefer to ignore every day.
