Marion Cotillard reunites with Guillaume Canet for Karma: new image

This is the 9th collaboration between Marion Cotillard and Guillaume Canet: Karmawhich has just been selected out of competition at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival, reveals a new preview.

In KarmaMarion Cotillard plays a woman on the run, who tries to escape justice. This new image shows her in a church, facing Denis Ménochet, as a priest. A promising confrontation.
“In a village in the north of Spain, Jeanne tries to rebuild her life with Daniel, who knows nothing of her troubled past. One day, Mateo, Jeanne’s six-year-old godson, mysteriously disappears… In order to escape the police who quickly suspect her, Jeanne takes refuge in France in a religious community in which she was born and which she fled a few years previously. Daniel does not believe in the guilt of the woman he loves and will do everything to find her before the police” details the synopsis.
The film will also mark the explosive reunion of the duoAs Bestas : Denis Ménochet and Luis Zahera. At their side, we also find Leonardo Sbaraglia, seen in The New Savages And Pain and Glory.
