Mission Impossible 8: Simon Pegg confirms the return of a character
Paris, played by Pom Klementieff, therefore survived the end of Dead Reckonong part 1.
Simon Pegg revealed that Pom Klementieff will reprise his role as Paris in Mission Impossible 8. We left the relentless killer in bad shape at the end of the 7th part of the saga. But she survived her injuries, as suggested by the scene where we saw agents Briggs and Degas taking her pulse. “Hard to kill! If you think you’ve seen everything about Paris, you’re wrong“, blurted out the one who has played Benji Dunn since Mission Impossible 3 (2006).
Particularly known for her role as Mantis in the Guardians of the Galaxy, Pom Klementieff made her notable debut in the Mission Impossible saga with this role of a French mercenary working on behalf of Gabriel (Esai Morales) and getting in the way of Ethan Hunt. However, the latter spares him during their confrontation in Rome. Gabriel, believing that she will betray him, therefore decides to kill her with a stab in the final sequence taking place on the Orient Express. Enough to imagine that she could join the IMF in the new Mission Impossible, the filming of which, interrupted by the strike in Hollywood, is far from finished?
Mission: Impossible 8 will be in theaters on May 23, 2025 in the USA.
