Netflix announces season 6 of Emily in Paris
But where will Emily Cooper be in the new chapter of her romantic adventures?
Emily Cooper has not finished making the hearts of European capitals beat faster.
Netflix has officially renewed Emily in Paris for a sixth season. A logical choice given the constant success of the series led by Lily Collins, which continues to attract good audiences… at the same time as the sentimental twists and turns. It was Lily Collins who announced it herself on the networks.
Still played by Lily Collins, will Emily Cooper be back in Paris in season 6? Nothing is less certain…
Spoiler alert! If she ends up returning to Paris at the end of season 5, she finally receives an invitation from Gabriel… After being hired as a full-time private chef on the yacht of a billionaire (Jonathan Cake), Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) reconnects with Emily, now single. He sends her a postcard, inviting her to join him at sea. Problem: the season ends without us knowing Emily’s response. An open door to a radical change of scenery, and perhaps to a new, more adventurous chapter, far from offices, agencies…
In terms of numbers, the series remains a safe bet for Netflix. Season 5 rose directly to second place in the Global Top 10 with 13.5 million views during its first four days of operation, before retaining this position the following week with an additional 13.3 million views.
No date announced yet for this season 6 of Emily in Paris.
