Also, Disney has suspended the development of the film inspired by its novel The Graveyard Book. Finally, Neil Gaiman was also dismissed from his publishing house, Dark Horse Comics, and the adapted musical of Coralineone of his most famous works has been canceled.
Neil Gaiman is therefore now persona non grata in industry.
Despite everything, Sandman will still have the opportunity to finish what it started. The series will be entitled to a real conclusion, at the end of this season 2, as confirmed by Allan Heinberg, Showrunner:
“The series has always been focused on Dream’s story, and in 2022, when we examined the remaining material of the comics, we knew that we only had history to do a single additional season. We are extremely Recognizing Netflix for having gathered the whole team and having given us time and resources to carry out a faithful adaptation, which we hope to the height of the expectations of readers and fans of the series. “
