Netflix finally gives a date for Havoc, with Tom Hardy, by the director of The Raid
We also discover the first official images of this very sticky and highly anticipated thriller.
Three and a half years after its announcement, Havocthe new film from Gareth Evanswill finally see the light of day. We hoped for it in 2023, then in 2024, but we will have to wait until 2025 to discover the second collaboration between the director of The Raid And Tom Hardywho had already worked together on The Good Apostle (2018).
Netflix incidentally reveals the first official images of this action thriller where the Venom star will play a banged-up cop heading into the criminal world in search of the son of a politician who found himself in a dirty drug trafficking business . In doing so, he discovers that a deep network of corruption is completely corrupting his city.
Tom Hardy will be well accompanied in Havocstarring Jessie Mei Li, Justin Cornwell, Quelin Sepulveda, Luis Guzmán, Michelle Waterson, Sunny Pang, Jim Caesar, Xelia Mendes-Jones, Yeo Yann Yann, Timothy Olyphant, and Forest Whitaker.
Last July, Gareth Evans declared the end of filming on his Instagram account, announcing 5 to 6 months of post-production. He then hoped that the film would be released in the first quarter of 2025, which should be the case. And assured that no promotional material would be published in 2024.
But we finally have the right to this first glimpse which promises us a dark and sticky film, while waiting for the trailer and the precise date which should be communicated at the beginning of next year.
