Pamela Anderson Joins Liam Neeson in Is There a Cop Remake
The former Baywatch star will reprise the role played by Priscilla Presley in the original.
Surprise: Pamela Anderson will return to the cinema in the remake of Is there a cop (The Naked Gun in VO). She will opposite Liam Neeson, who will play Lieutenant Frank Drebin in this comedy by Akiva Schaffer (Hot Rod, Neighbors of the Third Kind, Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping And Tic et Tac, the risk rangers). Anderson will play the woman Drebin has his sights on, a role played by Priscilla Presley in the original film. The last time Pamela Anderson appeared in a movie was for a cameo in Nicky Larson and the Scent of Cupiddirected by Philippe Lacheau and released in 2018. This new version of Is there a cop will be released in France in cinemas on July 16, 2025.
Remember that the saga Is there a cop…. is derived from the series Police Squad (1982) by the trio Jerry Zucker, Jim Abrahams and David Zucker (aka the ZAZ). Three films were produced between 1988 and 1994: Is there a cop to save the queen? , Is there a cop to save the president? And Is there a cop to save Hollywood?with the late Leslie Nielsen as Frank Drebin.
