Young Sheldon's family finished filming the final episode
Iain Armitage and the others posted some touching photos and messages, as a farewell to the sitcom which is ending.
Five years ago, friends of The Big Bang Theory bid farewell with emotion after wrapping up the finale of the last episode. This week, it's the turn of the family of Young Sheldon to separate. The production has just finished filming the grand finale this Tuesday.
Several cast members share behind-the-scenes photos from their final hours of filming, including Iain Armitage on Instagram, who says: “What a joy, what an honor and what a privilege.“
Above all, Iain Armitage nostalgically posted this image of him, at 8 years old, preparing “filming the very first scene I did as a Young Sheldon.”
The actor, philosopher, comments immediately: “If I could go back in time, what would I say to my younger self? Maybe I wouldn't tell him anything and let life happen naturally. But I think he would be so surprised and happy to see where we are today. Yes of course. I don't think this kid could have anticipated what it would be like to film our final scene all these years later…”
His television sister, Raegan Revord (Missy) also uploaded this touching image (below) from her last day with Annie Potts (Meemaw).
The grand finale of Young Sheldon will be broadcast on May 16.
