First image of Guillaume Canet in blood in the thriller Ad Vitam

The actor is also a screenwriter and producer of this Netflix film currently in production.

10 years later Blood Ties, Guillaume Canet dive back into the action thriller with Ad Vitama project that he developed with his friend Rodolphe Lauga. Co-writer of Rock'n Roll and of We will end up togetherthe continuation of Small handkerchiefshe was even a camera operator on… Blood Ties. This time he is behind the camera to direct Canet alongside Stéphane Caillard, Johan Heldenbergh, Nassim Lyes, Zita Hanrot and Alexis Manenti.

In the first image which has just been revealed, we see Guillaume Canet with his face bloodied and under pressure in the streets of Paris. Ad Vitam is currently filming in the capital and the Paris region and will be released on Netflix in 2025. The synopsis promises a pure, high-tension suspense film:

“After escaping a murder attempt, Franck Lazareff must find his wife Leo kidnapped by a mysterious group of armed men. He is caught up in his past and plunged into a state affair that is beyond his control”

Guillaume Canet co-signed the screenplay forAd Vitam with Rodolphe Lauga (and with the collaboration of David Corona, a former negotiator at GIGN). He is also producer of the film with Jean Cottin (Cabanes production).
