Robert De Niro’s new gangster film changes title and release date

Warner Bros. readjusts its schedule, including the Barry Levinson film.

Originally titled Wise Guysa common expression for a member of the underworld, the next film from Barry Levinson changed title to Alto Knights. Its release date has also been changed, initially scheduled for January 31, it has been pushed back to November 13, 2024.

This is a gangster film in which Robert DeNirothe specialist in this type of role (Mean Streets, The Freedmen, Casino, The Irishman…), who plays not one but two characters. During the first half of the 20th century in New York, Vito Genovese and Frank Costello (both played by De Niro) are two criminal godfathers reigning respectively over their family, their territory and their business. The public will have to show a little patience before seeing De Niro put on the gangster mask that suits him so well. Barry Levinson is very active at the moment as he is also preparing Murdera film about the assassination of JFK, with Al Pacino, John Travolta And Viggo Mortensen.
