Ryan Reynolds mocks Paul Rudd in clip from Deadpool & Wolverine
Also with a mysterious easter egg that stirs the imagination of fans…
New images of Deadpool & Wolverine leaked online. A short extract taken from an exclusive IMAX trailer shown at the cinema. We see Logan calling Wade Wilson on his dirty face (“you had to put your mask back on“), then the latter delivers an ultra-meta punchline in the purest Deadpool style facing the giant corpse of Ant-Man: “Hey, Paul Rudd finally got old“.

A detail caught the attention of Internet users. At the very beginning of the sequence, Dead Pool And Wolverine are in a restaurant and we see a menu written on the window. Some see it as a reference to Joe's Pizza in Spider-Man 2, in which Tobey Maguire works. From there to hope for an appearance of the Weaver in Deadpool 3there is a step that we will be careful not to take.

Joe's is a generic name for a restaurant in fiction (remember the famous Eat at Joe's from the Warner Bros. cartoons). And the diner where Logan and Wade are located is located in a desert location, not in the heart of New York. It especially resembles the one where Phil Coulson was talking with Jasper Sitwell (a HYDRA agent infiltrated within SHIELD) in the short film The Consultant which was in the Blu-Ray of Thor. Interpret that however you want…
However, this is not the first nod to Spiderman of Sam Raimi that fans believe they spot in the images of Deadpool 3. In the trailer released in April, others also saw a reference to a scene where Deadpool dodges Wolverine's blows, as in the first Spiderman when Flash Thompson tries to punch Peter Parker.

The imagination of the public, who impatiently awaits the release of Deadpool & Wolverine (July 24 in France), is running at full speed. Shawn Levy's film is the only one on the MCU calendar, which had a very complicated 2023 at the box office.
Kevin Feige advised Hugh Jackman against returning to Deadpool & Wolverine
