Scary Movie 6 pays Michael Jackson in a scathing new trailer
“Even the King of Pop won’t be spared.”
The opportunity is too good: while Michael is released in theaters this week, Paramount Pictures is riding the event to boost the promotion of Scary Movie 6.
A new video has just been posted online and it reveals new images with Kenan Thompson who slips into the shoes of the King of Pop. The tone is set with the slogan: “For generations, only one artist has truly touched his fans!” A valve which obviously refers to the accusations of sexual abuse which dogged the star for years – a frontal contrast with Michaelthe biopic produced by Lionsgate Films, which does not address these accusations (since the film’s story ends in 1988 on its world tour Bad).
“Nothing is sacred. No cliché survives. All limits are crossed”also promises the official synopsis of Scary Movie 6which details:
“Twenty-six years after escaping a strangely familiar masked killer (“Ghostface”), the saga’s iconic heroes are once again in the murderer’s crosshairs, and no horror film franchise is safe.”
Marlon Wayans (“Shorty”), Shawn Wayans (“Ray”), Anna Faris (“Cindy”) and Regina Hall (“Brenda”) star in Scary Moviealongside well-known characters and new recruits, to move on to vitriolic reboots, remakes, late sequels, prequels, sequels, spin-offs, so-called sophisticated horror films, films telling the origins of characters — all those franchises that claim to continue the legacy of a cult saga, and all those “final chapters” that never really are.
Scary Movie 6 will be released on June 3, 2026 in cinemas in France.
