Stephen King loves Task on HBO Max
He had already validated Mare of Easttown, the previous criminal series of Brad Ingelsby.
While Marche or Crève is going out today in the cinema in France, it is not the adaptation of his novel by Francis Lawrence that Stephen King applauds on the networks … but Task!
The HBO series – broadcast with us on HBO Max – has been a hit since its launch at the start of the school year. And now, in turn, the master of horror in person recommends it to his readers. On X, Stephen King writes:
“Task (HBO): It is a criminal story, a breathless suspense. You will get into the laws of law (led by Mark Ruffalo) as much as to criminals. But above all, you are going to be afraid for this little boy removed…”
Task (HBO): It’s a Story crime; It’s nailbiting suspense. You’ll care about the Lawmen (LED by Mark Ruffalo) and the Criminals. Most of All, You’ll Care About the Kidnapped Little Boy.

Stephen King is used to highlighting the series he loves to watch. He had recently greet the horrific drama Evil (on Paramount +) or even the last season of Stranger Things (on Netflix).
And four years ago, he was already passionate about Mare of Easttown, the previous Crimienelle series by Brad Ingelsby, creator of Task.
My Guess as to who Killed Erin in Mare of Easttown: The Boy, Ryan Ross.
