Edgar Wright is currently working on two projects: a remake of Barbarella worn by Sydney Sweeneyas well as a new version of Running Man with Glen Powell. Since the latter was announced in May, there have been rumors in Hollywood that it would be the more advanced of the two, and that the director of Shaun of the Dead could actually find the actress there too. This new Running Man would thus mark the reunion between the duo ofAnyone But You…to the great delight of fans of this rom-com which caused a sensation at the beginning of the year.

37 years after the film led by Arnold Schwarzenegger, Running Man is set to begin filming in London next October, says Hollywood reporter Daniel Richtman. In the meantime, Sydney Sweeney should have completed shooting on David Michôd’s next film (The Rover, The King), which starts this week. So she could join Glen Powell in this deadly reality TV story, a sort of Hunger Games before its time, before having its own version of Barbarella ? Wright expressed interest in the remake of Roger Vadim’s sci-fi film starring Jane Fonda just after confirming his involvement in Running Man. A big fan of Stephen King’s story, he would like to film this one as a priority.
