Television channels pay tribute to Laurent Cantet

Several great films by the director who died at the age of 63 are worth (re)watching.

The disappearance of Laurent Cantet, this Thursday, left a big void in French cinema. A talented and committed director, he has distinguished himself through his remarkable filmography, his mobilization for undocumented immigrants and his participation in the 50/50 collective which promotes the equality of women and men and diversity in cinema and audio-visual. Plus the short film Beach gamesalready with Jalil Lespert.

France Télévisions, for its part, announced the broadcast ofArthur Rambo, the latest film by Laurent Cantet released in 2021, on Saturday May 4 on Culture Box (France 4). The essential Between the wallswhich received the Palme d'Or in 2008, will be offered during the Cannes Film Festival. Between the walls is already visible on MyCanal (until Tuesday only), as well as a collection dedicated to Laurent Cantet.
