True Detective 4 finally has a date: the frozen trailer promises a new sordid investigation

The broadcast of the next episode of True Detective is advanced

To avoid any competition with the Super Bowl, which will take place this Sunday.

Since January 15, the episodes of the new season of True Detectivesubtitled Nlight country and worn by Jodie Foster and Kali Reis, are broadcast every Sunday on HBO, then the following night in France, via Prime Video’s Warner Pass. Exceptionally, number 5 will be broadcast a little earlier: tune in on Saturday February 10 from 3 a.m. to discover the rest of the two women’s cold investigation.

Why did you change this date? Because of the Super Bowl, the most followed sporting event in the world, which this year is set for Sunday February 11. To avoid any direct competition, and therefore a potential drop in audience, HBO preferred to bring forward the programming of the continuation of its series. Its finale will then be proposed “Normally”i.e. Sunday February 18 in the US and Monday 19 from 3 a.m. in France.

The story of True Detective: Night Country : When the long winter night falls on Ennis, Alaska, the eight men who manage the Tsalal Arctic research station disappear without a trace. To solve the case, detectives Liz Danvers (Jodie Foster) and Evangeline Navarro (Kali Reis) must confront the darkness they carry within them, and dig into the haunted truths buried beneath the eternal ice.
