The diplomat goes back on a mission in season 3: trailer
“An atrociously corrupt woman has become president. And we are the only ones to know how much!”
Netflix set the date of return of the diplomat and unveils the first images of season 3 with a trailer (below).
We discover Allison Janney in Grace Penn, new president of the United States, ready to take an oath, while Kate (Keri Russell) warns her husband: “A terribly corrupt woman is now president, and we are the only ones to know how much.”
This season, Kate saw the nightmare to get what she wanted. She accused the vice-president of having fomented a terrorist conspiracy, confessed to target her post … And now the president dies mysteriously. Hal (Rufus Sewell), who could have played a role in this death, does not bother: he absolutely wants Kate to become vice-president. But here she is propelled into a role she never desired, torn between her ambiguous friendship with the British Minister of Foreign Affairs (David Gyasi) and a disturbing link with the First Gentleman Todd Penn, embodied by Bradley Whitford.
Season 3, made up of eight episodes, will be available on Thursday October 16 on Netflix. Look at the trailer:
