A new Batman animated series will arrive this summer on Prime Video: The new look of the heroes in photos
And bad guys, obviously: Harley Quinn and Clayface notably change their appearance.
You have Danny Elfman's music blaring in your ears whenever you hear about the Batman animated series ? These stories, broadcast from 1992 by Warner Bros. TV, have left their mark on generations of spectators, and are still considered today to be one of the best adaptations of DC comics.
Of course, the superhero has appeared in other versions, animated or not, but Bruce Timm's remains in the hearts of fans, so when it was announced that this author and screenwriter was going to return to the helm of a new animated series for the same studio, the expectation towards Batman: Caped Crusader skyrocketed.
Warner Bros. Animation is teaming up with Bad Robot, JJ Abrams' production company, and 6th & Idaho to create ten episodes of this new series, for which the studio has just announced the date and broadcast platform. Matt Reeves, director of The Batman with Robert Pattinson, is also behind this project.
See you from August 1, 2024 on Prime Video to discover Caped CrusaderAmazon having recovered its distribution rights following Max's withdrawal. To keep fans waiting, the studio accompanies this announcement with a handful of photos. We discover the new looks of Batman, of course, but also of his friends and/or enemies Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Harley Quinn, Clayface or Commissioner Gordon.
Now that these images have been revealed, a first teaser should not take long?
