The platform has just unveiled the first images of The Old Guard 2the long -awaited suite of the fantastic action film carried by Charlize Theron. A suite that will have taken 5 years to arrive.
“Andy and his team of immortal warriors are back to protect humanity in the face of a formidable new enemy who threatens their existence”announces the official synopsis.
In the first part, after betraying the group, Booker (Matthias Schoenaerts) was banished for a century – before finding Quynh, long missing.
Directed by Victoria Mahoney, This second opus is written by Greg Rucka and Sarah L. Walker, according to the comic book signed Rucka and the illustrator Leandro Fernandez.
Photos of The Old Guard 2 Confirm the return of the Oscar winner Charlize Theron in the role of Andy. By his side, we find Kiki Layne (Nile), Marwan Kenzari (Joe), Luca Marinelli (Nicky), Chiwetel Ejiofor (Copley), and a new new one: Henry Golding (Crazy Rich Asians, The Gentlemen). The cast also counts Veronica Ngo (Quynh), Matthias Schoenaerts (Booker), and Uma Thurman (Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill).
